Meet Our Founder

Michal Renee Carlock is the Founder and Executive Director of Her Promise Circle Foundation, a Georgia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing community-based, preventative wellness programming for women in DeKalb County through a hybrid in-person and virtual model that extends access nationally and globally.

She is deeply committed to ensuring women have access to early, stabilizing supports before burnout or crisis occurs—particularly women navigating chronic stress, high responsibility, caregiving roles, and limited access to consistent wellness resources.

Growing up in a christian home, Michal learned stigmas surrounding the very necessary services needed in order to maintain her mental & emotional health. This lack of education lead to her having to reach a very low point in order to get to a professional to receive a formal diagnosis of a severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder with Panic Attacks that made normal life and functioning nearly impossible for her.

During that time in crisis, she placed her full faith in God for the first time while simultaneously educating herself in what it meant to not just survive, but preventatively maintain her whole health.

For her, It was because of the integration of her pouring into not only her mind body, but also her spirtual health that brought her to a balanced place of well- being and fufillment in life, and now she serves women by helping them do the same.

This commitment is informed by both her professional background in critical care healthcare and her lived understanding of how delayed support contributes to long-term physical, emotional, and mental strain.

She became ferociously determined to break the walls down of stigmas that normalize poor health, lack of education, and access to the professionals necessary to become whole in you mind body and spirit.

Michal holds a BSRC & is a GA State Registered RCP, and a NBC-HWC. She brings over a decade of experience working in critical care and wellness education, grounding the Foundation’s programs in education, prevention, and sustainable behavior change.

She also hosts The Her Promise Circle Podcast, ranked in the top 3% globally by ListenNotes, expanding access to preventative wellness conversations for women worldwide.

Through Her Promise Circle Foundation, Michal envisions a world — not just the county she serves, but nationally and globally — where women are supported earlier, remain engaged in their well-being, and are better positioned to strengthen their households and contribute to healthier, more resilient communities.

Faith Statement

As a faith-based organization,

We are followers of Jesus Christ—He is our Lord, our Savior, and the reason we live, lead, and serve. We don’t just believe in God; we build with Him. Every step we take, every message we share, every woman we mentor is guided by the Holy Spirit and rooted in the Word of God.

He is the reason for this vision, our reach in helping so many, and the healing we experienced so that we could help pull others out of what we once struggled through.

While our foundation is rooted in faith, our services are open to all—regardless of nationality, race, language, background, or creed.

We advocate for health education, mental health services and professionals, and all resources that help all people access and understand knowledge that may have been stigmatized or not taught in their upbringing—so they can avoid the burnout or crisis we once experienced.

God has given us all we need to thrive on this earth, including these tools and resources. We are committed to expanding access to what is necessary for all people, not just Christians to not only prosper spiritually, but in their mental, emotional, and physical health as well.

The Bible is not just a book we reference. It is the blueprint for how we live, love, and lead.

We believe in healing through Christ, purpose through Kingdom identity, and bold faith that does not bow to fear, confusion, or culture. We love all because He first loved us.

Our mission is simple: to empower all People to become wholly well—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically—through accessible, faith-based wellness education, mentorship, and community support, equipping them to walk confidently in God’s promises.

Scriptures HPCF Was Built On:

Isaiah 61:1–3 (AMP)
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me… to bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted… to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning…”
This is our calling. Healing. Restoration. Purpose.

1 Peter 4:10

Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor].

HPCF is an image of what God can do to restore and redeem your lowest points in life, and so we serve my fellow people with all He has given us.

Romans 12:2 (NIV)
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is…”
Because awareness and new beliefs create prevention of what we were never made to suffer through.

3 John 1:2 (AMP)

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].

We were created to thrive abundantly not just spiritually, but in total health.

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
“We are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Our Purpose wasn’t found—it was already prepared to solve the need people are experiencing in their health due to the current climate of lack, policies, and accessibility.
