Her Promise Family Project

The Promise Family Project is Her Promise Circle’s ongoing outreach initiative where we walk alongside one family at a time—covering them with love, support, and practical resources as they navigate a challenging season.

Nominate a Family for Support

As a community, we believe in being the hands and feet of Jesus. One of the ways we do that is through our Adopting a Family Initiative, where we intentionally support families facing financial hardship, unexpected challenges, or seasons of transition.

Every family we adopt has a unique story, and we are honored to walk with them. Through your prayers, generosity, and kindness, we’re able to provide:

  • Essential household needs

  • Groceries and meals

  • Baby and children’s items

  • Support for medical or emergency situations

  • Encouragement and spiritual covering

  • And more, depending on the family’s needs

Why We Do This

Because every family deserves to feel supported.
Because community should stand together.
Because healing happens when we show up for one another.

When you give, pray, or share the family spotlight, you become part of their story. And together, we help make room for restoration.

Meet Ms. Tabatha Lewis & Granddaughter, Anila

This holiday season, Her Promise Circle Foundation is honored to adopt our very first family—a grandmother who stepped in with courage, love, and resilience when her granddaughter needed her most.

Their Story

Ms. Tabatha Lewis, age 49, has been caring for her granddaughter Anila, age 3½, since earlier this year.
After the heartbreaking loss of her son—Anila’s father—in December 2021, this time of year is especially tender for her.

When Anila’s living situation became unstable and outside support was being considered, her mother reached out to Ms. Tabatha so her daughter could remain with family rather than enter foster care.

Without hesitation, Ms. Tabatha brought her granddaughter home to Georgia to make sure she was safe and cared for.

Their Current Needs

Since taking custody of Anila, Ms. Lewis has been working tirelessly to create a stable, loving environment for her granddaughter. She has faced significant financial strain while navigating:

  • Securing safe housing

  • Adjusting to the demands of full-time caregiving

  • Ensuring Anila’s daily needs are met

  • Accessing community resources for clothing, toys, and essentials

  • Managing new responsibilities on a limited budget

Despite every challenge, Ms. Tabatha continues to show remarkable strength, love, and determination. She is doing everything in her power to provide the best life possible for Anila.

How We Can Help

As the HPC Foundation community, we have the opportunity to come alongside this family and lighten the load during a very meaningful season.

Ms. Tabatha and Anila would greatly benefit from:

🎁 Holiday gifts and essentials for Anila
🏠 Household support items to ease financial strain
💝 Funds to help stabilize their home during this transition

Your support—no matter the amount—directly blesses a grandmother who stepped up in love and a little girl who deserves a joyful, stable season.
